What We Practice

Values are not worth much unless they are translated into actions. Based on what the Bible teaches, we feel very strongly about the following 15 practices.

1. LOVE for God with our whole being:

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with your entire mind; and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30).

2. Obedience to and application of scriptures:

“Doing the word, not merely listening to it deceiving oneself” (James 1: 22) “But He answered, it is written...” (Matt 4: 4)

3. A lifestyle of Prayer:

“Men ought always to pray and not to faint” (Luke 18:1)

4. Excellence:

We strive for excellence in everything we do “Then Daniel was preferred above the Presidents and Princes, because an excellent spirit was in him” (Daniel 6: 3)

5. Talent:

We build on the strength of each person, so weaknesses become irrelevant. We believe in releasing the unique gifts locked inside everybody for the Kingdom “Each one should use whatever spiritual gift he has received to serve others” (1st Peter 4: 10). “God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well (Rom. 12: 6)

6. Diversity:

We celebrate all for their unique differences “Live together in harmony, live together in love as though you have only one mind and one spirit between you” (Phil 2: 2) hold each other in high esteem

7. Continual Learning:

We believe that learning is the lifestyle of leadership. All leaders are learners. The moment you stop learning, you stop leading and you stop growing “He who loves wisdom loves his own best interest and will be a success” (Pro. 19: 8)

8. Feedback and Accountability:

From the pew to the pulpit and vice versa “Get the fact at any price...” (Pro. 23: 23) “Come let us reason together...” (Isaiah 1: 18)

8. Integrity and Transparency:

God uses ordinary people. We are all trophies of God’s Grace; our Salvation is of God’s mercy. “Our lives in this world, and especially our relations with you, have been ruled by God-given frankness and sincerity...” (2nd Cor. 1: 12) “We are hiding nothing from you and our hearts are absolutely open to you” (2nd Cor. 6: 11)

10. Service:

Is our business “we were saved to serve in our Father’s Kingdom” Matt. 20: 28, Acts 13: 36; Gal. 5: 13

11. Freedom and Flexibility:

In a world that is constantly changing where we have to be fast, fluid and flexible. By God’s grace most of our activities and ventures are unplanned. IT must be of Gods doing. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2Cor. 3: 17) “We may make our plans, but God has the last word” (Pro 16:1)

12. Innovation we are not deterred by failure:

Failure is not failing to reach a goal; rather, failure is not trying at all. We know that what worked today may not work tomorrow. “The intelligent man is always open to new ideas. In fact, he looks for them” (Prov. 18: 15)

13. Team work here in Christ Abundant Life Ministries:

We believe in team work, because success or Ministry is never a one–man show. “All of us together are the one Body of Christ and each of you is a separate and necessary part of it” (1st Cor. 12: 27)

14. Testimonies of Restoration and Breakthrough:

We believe that not only can God do it but that He will do it and that He will make all our trials become trophies. Therefore, we expect to celebrate your triumphs. “All things are possible with God” (Mark 10:27) “Thy testimonies also are my delight” (Psalms 119: 24)

15. Growth:

As long as there is still one person in the world, who does not know Christ, we will continue to keep growing not only for our benefit, but also for those who need to know the Lord as Saviour. “Under Christ’s control, the whole body is nourished and held together... and grows as God wants it to grow” (Col. 2: 19)
